Trip or sequential service

Written by Patrick

Pysae lets you choose between a trip mode and a sequential mode for your drivers' terminals. In this article, we explain the two options and how to configure them simply.

Trip mode

Trip mode gives access to the tracking of trips, one by one, on the Pysae Driver application.

On his terminal, the driver accesses his journey as explained in this article.

Sequential service mode

Sequential service mode allows a driver to select several trips in succession. Services are created directly via the transport plan and the block_id field.

From Pysae Driver, the driver chooses his vehicle and then selects ā€˜Start service’.

On the next screen, he will see a list of available services (several journeys on a single service).

They click on the service of their choice and then on ā€˜Start mission’.

Once the mission has been launched, the trips follow on automatically, with no additional handling required.

Changing modes

To configure a device in trip mode or sequential service, go to the side menu and select ā€˜Resources’ then ā€˜Devices’.

Choose a device and click on the pencil icon on the far right to modify the device.

Once the window is open, you can change the mode of this device, select the ā€˜Trip’ or ā€˜Sequential service ā€œ mode from the drop-down menu and click on ā€Validate.
