The "Team" feature allows you to create sub-groups of users (e.g. sub-contractors). In this way, you can restrict the access and viewing of these users to certain elements, such as vehicles and assigned races.

You can assign the following to a team:

  • Drivers:

    • Assigned to a team they will only see the "Vehicles" and "Trips" elements assigned to that team.

  • Vehicles:

    • These, once assigned to a team, will only be visible to users (whether drivers or administrators) of that same team.

  • Trips:

    • Trips assigned to a team are only visible to users of that team.

    • If trips are not assigned, then all users see them.

  • Devices:

    • Devices assigned to a team will only be visible to users on that same team.

    • Users will only see real-time race data if their device is attached to their team.

Create a team

To create a team, you must be the administrator of your workspace. Go to the configuration menu (cogwheel at top right), then click on "Teams".

Click on "Add" to open a new line. Name your team and assign it a color, then click on "Save". You have a new team.

Assigning drivers to a team

To assign drivers to this team, hover over "Resources" in the left-hand side menu, then click on "Drivers". Select the person you are interested in by clicking on the pencil on the far right when you place your cursor on the line corresponding to their name.

The fields become editable. You can then assign the driver to the team of your choice using the drop-down menu in the "Team" column and save.

To assign vehicles to this team, hover over "Resources" in the left-hand side menu, then click on "Vehicles". Select the one you want by clicking on the pencil on the far right when you place your cursor on the line corresponding to the license plate.

The fields become editable. You can then assign the vehicle to the team of your choice using the drop-down menu in the "Team" column, and save.

To assign one or more trips to your team, hover over "Resources" in the left-hand side menu, then click on "Transport plan" and access the "Lines" tab. Choose the line to which the trip you wish to assign to a team belongs.

Choose the service concerned, then the trip. Finally, click on the blue icon with the pencil at the top right of your interface, then choose the team from the drop-down menu. Finally, click on the little blue tick.

If you wish to modify an existing plan which is in use or in production ("Active" or "Completed" status), first duplicate it (to do this, refer to the "Duplicating a transport plan" section of this article) and apply the modifications to the duplicate, then publish it.

When a user is assigned to a team, he/she only sees the resources (devices, trips, vehicles and drivers) assigned to that team.

⚠️ Be sure to check that each device has been assigned to the corresponding team.

If a trip is assigned to a machine but it does not belong to any team, then it is not possible to assign this trip to the desired team. You must first delete the assignment of the trip to the device.

It is also possible to assign the team only to a user and his devices, so that the user only sees his vehicles. In this case, he will still see all the theoretical races, but will not have vision over the real-time data associated with the devices to which he does not have access.

To remember:

For Pysae Driver users.

💡When a driver is assigned to a team, he only sees the vehicles and races assigned to that team.

💡When a vehicle is assigned to a team, only drivers attached to that team will see the vehicle(s).

💡When a race is assigned to a team, only users attached to that team will see the trip(s), provided their device is previously assigned to the same team.
