💡Principle

Pysae is able to control the destination sign on board the vehicles via an RS232 type wired connection.

This allows the driver's entry into service on the AVM to be shared with the destination sign console. This reduces the number of operations required by the driver on the on-board systems, while automatically indicating the destination on the wind van.

The information needed to control the destination sign is transmitted by the AVM: Pysae sends Lumiplan's Pilot console an "SIV code", a unique identifier attached to a journey that enables it to be recognized and its destination displayed on the destination sign.

✅ Technical requirements

The Lumiplan wind vane desk can be wired to Pysae.

You need the following equipment:

  • Lumiplan Pilot destination sign console

  • Smartphone or tablet

  • Mounting bracket

  • Data connection

  • 3-port cable with one RS232 serial output, one micro-USB port and one USB port

  • DB9 cable (F) <> Molex Micro Fit 12pin (F)

🔌Installation

The console must be configured by browsing the tree structure as below:

  • 1 Configuration

  • 1 Equipment

  • 3 SAE RS232 / RS484

  • 1 Protocol no.

  • 36 Duhatiers+ RS232

To connect the serial port to the Micro Fit 12 port on the console (caution, micro fit: black connector), use a DB9 (F) <> Molex Micro Fit 12pin (F) cable with the following connections:

📝Transport plan and required fields

Make sure that your transport plans (in GTFS format) are identical in your Pysae and Lumiplan solutions. You can retrieve the GTFS published in Pysae via the Transport Plan API.

The destination sign code or route code must be entered in the transport plan for each route in the ext_pis_code field.

💻Configuration in Pysae

Go to the "Integrations" tab at the bottom left.

Click on "Activate" in the corresponding box.

In the "Type" box, select "Serial". Here you can also change the port and the GTFS field.

You can also configure the router automatically. To do this, click on the corresponding button. Here you need to enter the username and password given to you by your router supplier.

Don't forget to click on "Save" to validate the configuration.

Finally, in the "Settings" tab, then "Driver application", you can enter the code corresponding to the toe-in phases as set up in your Lumiplan FSS management tool.

Don't forget to click on the "Save" button.
