Introduction

This article explains how to view, modify, create and publish a transportation plan.

  • View or modify a transportation plan

  • Create a transportation plan

  • Publish a transportation plan

  • Duplicate a transportation plan

  • Archive a transportation plan

View or modify a transportation plan

To access the transport plan editor, Pysae's integrated interface for managing your plans, go to "Resources" on the home page of your operating platform web interface. Then click on "Transport plan" in the drop-down menu.

You are now presented with a complete list of your different transport plans.

To view a plan's data ("Active" or "Completed" status), click on the "View" button, represented by an eye, which appears on the far right of the line when you hover over it.

To add quick and/or temporary modifications, you can choose to duplicate your "Active" plan and then make the modifications to your plan on the duplicate. (See "Duplicating a transport plan" for instructions on how to do this).

To modify plan data ("Draft" status), click on the "Modify information" button, represented by a pencil, which appears at the far right of the line when you hover over it.

As a reminder, a published file cannot be modified.

Creating a transport plan

Once in the transport plan editor, click on the "New transport plan" button at the top right of your interface. A pop-up window appears.

Name your plan, then click on "Create". For greater clarity, it's best to indicate the version of your transport plan, e.g. "My network_V1", so that you can more easily manage different versions of the plan.

Your new plan page opens automatically.

Publishing a transport plan

Before publishing your transport plan, it is necessary to update your theoretical distances so that all your modifications are taken into account and the theoretical inter-stop distances are updated. You can do this by clicking on the "Update distances on all runs" button at the bottom left of your (new) transport plan management page. (Please refer to the "Consult a transport plan" category for instructions on how to access this button).

Once you've completed this action, you're ready to move on to the next step: publishing!

Return to the list of your transportation plans by following the instructions in the "View a transportation plan" category. Hover over the line of the plan you wish to publish; it will then appear grayed out, and various buttons will now be visible.

Click on "Publish".

A new window will open, in which you will be asked to enter the desired date and time of publication. You can also choose to publish the plan instantly by simply ticking the "Publish immediately" box.

And that's it! As soon as it's published, the transport plan will appear as "Active".

Please note: for reasons of consistency with passenger information, and to facilitate communication with your drivers, we strongly recommend that you publish outside service hours.

Duplicate a transport plan

Go to the list of your transport plans. (Please refer to the "Consult a transport plan" category to find out how to access it).

Click on the "Duplicate" button, represented by two superimposed sheets, which appears on the far right of the line when you hover over it.

Name the duplicate plan and click on "Duplicate" to confirm.

Archive a transport plan

When one of your transport plans is no longer in use, you can archive it to improve the visibility of your list.

Click on the "Archive" button, represented by a box, which appears at the far right of the line when you hover over it.

You can also restore an archived transport plan at any time, from the "Archives" tab above your list.
