Introduction
You can manage all your devices from the Pyase operating platform. To access this feature, hover over "Resources" in the left-hand side menu, then click on "Devices" in the window that appears.
In this article, you'll find the information you need to :
add a new device
consult your device list
use an MDM
update your devices
Add a new device
You can pair new devices.
To do so, log in with your user account on the mobile application to add new devices.
View your device list
Pysae offers a device list view. It enables you to supervise your entire fleet, in particular by checking information such as :
device identifier
device name
device status ;
connection status ;
last activity ;
application version;
team ;
GTFS file status (updated or not).
You can modify the information displayed by clicking on "Columns" and adding new ones. Select your choice of analysis items by ticking the appropriate box.
You can also modify device information (device name, team, mode, etc.), simply by clicking on the pencil-shaped button that appears when hovering over the line of the device you're interested in, then entering the desired information in the dedicated fields.
To access a device's detailed file, simply click on its identifier.
Good to know: The Pysae Driver application is updated automatically and regularly via the Google Playstore, even in the absence of an MDM.
Application version
On this same page, you can view the version of the application installed on each terminal. Three different colors are visible, depending on the device's update status:
Green: the app version is recent and up-to-date,
Orange: the app version is dated but functional,
Red: the app version is too old and needs updating.
Using an MDM
As an option, you can use MDM (Mobile Device Management), which gives you total control over your smartphone from a distance, including the ability to lock the device in the event of loss.
In this case, you can download the latest Pysae Driver APK here.
Device updates
Data updates in the central system are transmitted to drivers in real time.
Each time a message is sent to the central system, the driver application checks its data version against that of the server.
In the event of a version difference, the update is automatically downloaded by the application and taken into account as soon as it is received.
Good to know: The "Settings" menu in the driver application allows a given device to update the application manually if the latest version is not installed on the device in question.
