The Pysae AVM system can be connected to various on-board systems, in particular for the transmission of service requests.

The main on-board systems to be connected to Pysae are :

  • The Passenger Information System (PIS) on board,

  • The Ticketing System (for selling tickets and managing season tickets).

The Passenger Information System includes in particular the Girouette System (exterior screens at the front, side and rear of the vehicle). This equipment is controlled by the girouette console.

The Girouette system may come from a different supplier to the SIV system, with a calculator, illuminated strips or TFT screens and a loudspeaker. The SIV System is a legal requirement for regular passenger transport in France (more information here). This legal text is generally referred to in the industry as ‘Annex 11’.

The diagram below shows an on-board architecture recommended by Pysae.

Pysae recommends connecting the on-board SIV and Ticketing systems to the AVM tablet or smartphone via the Pysae application, using a network connection provided by a 4G-LTE Wifi router.

This architecture makes it possible to offer a simple, scalable installation with a shared data connection between the on-board systems.

The Pysae AVM tablet or smartphone can also be connected to your wind vane console via a wired serial connection:
